Our extensive song library of 100,000 titles from 1900-present is representative of all genres of music; requests are encouraged and utilized whenever possible.
Our sound systems presently consist of Denon CD/MP3 Decks, Rane Mixers, QSC Amps, EV and Cerwin Vega Speaker Systems, AKG wired and Shure Wireless (handheld & lavalier) Microphones, Furman Voltage Regulators and Videotronics Sound Effects Boards. We are equipped and adept at performing for gatherings as large as 2000 or as intimate as 20 guests.
Lighting effects are complimentary; from a basic mood-setting mirror ball to an extravagant nine-light trussing. Scented fog and haze can also be requested; bubbles are available for outdoor events.
Sedona DJs offers a no cost, no obligation in-house consultation for each prospective client, by appointment. Upon retaining our services, clients may contact us 24/7 for recommendations in coordinating their event, at no additional charge.
Weddings constitute fifty percent of our events, from intimate backyard settings to lavish ballroom venues. In addition to serving as master of ceremonies during the reception, we can also provide pre-ceremonial and ceremonial music for the actual wedding. A second sound system is available for remote locations at a nominal fee; wireless mics are provided at no charge. Unless otherwise specified, tuxedos are the usual attire for Sedona DJs.
Reunions are a specialty and with our extensive database of songs, there is no guesswork involved in choosing the music; we are able to provide selections for exact years and eras, whether it’s a high school, college or family reunion.
Many times these events are a surprise for the guest(s) of honor; as a result, family members are often prompted to offer musical suggestions, as well as bits of personal information relating to the guests. Audience participation songs such as “The Twist,” “The Limbo,” “The Conga,” Hokey Pokey,” “Bunny Hop,” “Macarena,” “Musical Chairs,” “Balloon Dance,” "YMCA," "Cupid Shuffle," “Electric and Cha-Cha Slide” can be provided, along with hourly trivia questions and small prize giveaways.
Recreate the big band sound of the 40’s(authenticated by the hypnotic affect of a mirror ball); reminisce to the music of the 50’s with a traditional sock hop; groove to the psychedelic vibes of the 60’s(complete with strobe and fog); or shake your booty to the disco beat of the 70’s(complimented with a complete light system).
Sedona DJs will provide requested dance music, lighting and trivia for these events; in addition, we will also include cocktail, dinner and holiday selections.
One of the most important and difficult decisions in planning an event is choosing the right music service; we have attempted to make this task easier by providing various clientele reviews of our performances.
Flat-rate packages are the most economical; however hourly rates are also offered.
Occasionally dates will book as far as a year in advance; as a result, we encourage prospective clients to reserve a date ASAP to insure availability.
